With the exception of incumbents running for re-election, all candidates for election to the Board of Directors who wish to appear on the ballot must be nominated by petition. This petition (and qualification information) may be downloaded here or picked up at the Valdez or Glennallen storefronts. The petition must be signed by fifteen (15) or more cooperative members and submitted no later than Thursday, March 27th at 6:00 p.m.
In Valdez, there are two seats available with three-year terms and one seat with a two-year term. These seats are currently held by Ryan Morgan, Jennie Sodergren, and Paul Nylund who will be seeking re-election. In Glennallen, there is one seat available with a three-year term, currently held by Terry Valentine who will also be seeking re-election.
